The Acute Care Clinic is an urgent care facility that also serves primary care needs. We offer same day appointments and are open 365 days a year.
She graduated for Piedmont School of Nursing in Atlanta as a Registered Nurse in 1983 and received her Masters in Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgia Southern University in 2005. Ms.Thompson was a nursing instructor for 12 years at Swainsboro Technical College. She now joins us after working many years in primary and acute medicine at the Emanuel Medical Center.
Mrs. Thompson has lived in this community all of her life with her husband, three children and three grandchildren.
She is excited to start this new position providing the highest quality healthcare for the members of our community.
The Acute Care Clinic is proud to announce the addition of Ladonna Marie Hutcheson, ANP-BC to our practice. Ms. Hutcheson obtained her nurse practitioner certification in 2007 after graduating with her Master’s Degree from Atlantic Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA. She has been a licensed nurse since 1998. Ms. Hutcheson joins our practice from Lower Oconee Community Hospital where she did primary care in their clinics as well as treating patients in the Emergency Department.
She is married to Anthony Hutcheson and they have 3 children. She and her husband have resided in Vidalia since 2007.
Ms. Hutcheson has a special interest in the treatment of diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, health promotion and prevention as well as acute illnesses and injuries.
